Seeing Emotions, Seeing Growth


探索是成长的序章,展示是梦想的绽放。九月,国际双语一年级满怀憧憬启航。如今,迎来首次IB探究课第三单元“我们如何表达自己”单元结题展示活动。

Exploration is the prologue to growth, and display is the blooming of dreams. In September, the first-grade students of the International Bilingual Class set sail with great anticipation. Now, they are welcoming the first presentation event for the concluding exhibition of the third unit of the IB Inquiry class, "How We Express Ourselves."

小小主持人自信登台,用双语介绍单元主题、探究线索与重要概念,强调情绪表达的多样性。

The little host confidently took the stage to introduce the unit theme, explore clues and important concepts in bilingual, and emphasize the diversity of emotional expression.

 

在本单元的学习过程中,学生们系统地梳理并认识了各种不同类别的情绪、产生的原因及其对生活的影响。学生们通过小组讨论,并联系实际生活中发生的案例来进行探究,理解不同情绪背后产生的原因,学会通过以正确的方式表达情绪可以帮助我们更好的生活。

During the learning process of this unit, students systematically organized and recognized various categories of emotions, their causes, and their impact on life. Through group discussions and by relating to real-life cases, students explored the reasons behind different emotions and learned that expressing emotions in the right way can help us live better.

学生们组成探究小组,积极投身于不同情绪的探究中。通过搜集资料和小组讨论,深入探究这些情绪积极和消极的一面。在采取行动环节,孩子们选择朗诵、音乐、舞蹈、运动等不同的方式表达当下的情绪,并用中英文双语来表达自己的感受。

The students formed inquiry groups and actively engaged in exploring different emotions. Through gathering information and group discussions, they delved into both the positive and negative aspects of these emotions. In the action-taking phase, the children chose various ways to express their current emotions, such as recitation, music, dance, and sports, and expressed their feelings in both Chinese and English.

 

  


情绪分类表演中,孩子们用双语生动演绎“喜、怒、哀、惧”,独特的创意与流利的表达赢得家长们的阵阵掌声。

In the emotional classification performance, the children vividly interpreted "joy, anger, sorrow, and fear" in bilingual, and their unique creativity and fluent expression won the applause of parents.

 

  

孩子们畅谈自己对情绪的想法,那真诚的话语,独特的见解,是孩子们的奇思妙想,是希望爸爸妈妈开心快乐的愿望。

The children shared their thoughts on emotions. Their sincere words and unique insights are a reflection of their creative ideas and their wish for their parents to be happy and joyful.

走进作品展示区,探究课作品、创意情绪盒子、稚嫩却有力的书法作品,以及记录成长点滴的档案,是孩子们本学期的收获与成长。

Upon entering the exhibition area, one can see the inquiry project works, creative emotion boxes, calligraphy pieces that are naive yet powerful, and archives that document the children's growth. These are the achievements and growth of the children this semester.

 

  

  

此次结题展,见证了孩子们在国际双语班的蜕变。相信未来,孩子们会带着对世界的热爱与好奇,继续勇敢前行,绽放更绚烂的光彩。

This conclusion exhibition has witnessed the transformation of the children in the international bilingual class. We believe that in the future, the children will continue to move forward bravely with their love and curiosity for the world, shining even more brilliantly.
